\n\t\t\tGeneral information\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>\n \t<\/span>\n \n<\/div>[vc_column_text]What is wax or waxing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wax or waxing is the removal of unwanted body hair. This is done by applying warm hair removal wax with a spatula or roller, getting it solidify and then removing it. During the treatment, the hair including the hair root is removed. After the treatment you will experience a smooth feeling for three to six weeks and there is a complete absence of hair on the treated parts of the body. Advantages of wax or waxing compared to shaving are: you no longer suffer from skin irritations and a reduction in ingrown hair. By wax or waxing your skin undergoes a peeling. All dead skin cells are removed, leaving your skin feeling wonderfully smooth and velvety soft.<\/p>\n

You can\u2019t undergo a wax treatment if:<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Have benign growths on your skin
\n* You suffer from dermatological diseases such as eczema
\n* You suffer from varicose veins (affected veins at the place to be depilated)
\n* You suffer from severe hypertension
\n* You suffer from infectious diseases
\n* You suffer from diabetes
\n* You suffer from scrapes, burns or cuts<\/p>\n

Before and after the treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n

For proper treatment, your hair length must be at least 5 millimeters. You can exfoliate your skin one day before the appointment. This removes dead skin cells and paves the way for new hair growth. This prevents ingrown hair. Do not use creams or lotions on the depilatory areas on the day of the treatment.<\/p>\n

You cannot sunbathe, swim or play sports for up to 24 hours after the treatment. A visit to the bathhouse or sauna is also strongly discouraged. Also, you can\u2019t apply cosmetics or deodorants to the treated area.<\/p>\n

Moisturise your skin daily between treatments. We are recommended to scrub your body 1-2 times a week. Do not use a razor blade, epilator, or hair removal cream.<\/p>\n

Strictly stick to your schedule. You must schedule a new appointment every 4-6 weeks. Frequent hair removal increases the quality (hair becomes thinner and easier to remove), so you experience less pain during the treatment. Do not epilate or shave the treated area in between treatments.
