Do you dream of smooth skin without shaving, stubble, or ingrown hairs? At First Wax, we make that possible with the Soprano Titanium Special Edition, one of the most advanced systems for permanent hair reduction. We give you an honest explanation of what laser hair removal does, how it works, and what you can realistically expect.
Because only hairs in the active growth phase can be effectively treated, multiple sessions are required. After completing your treatment plan, 1 to 2 maintenance sessions per year are usually sufficient.
| Area | Number of Sessions | Average Hair Reduction |
|---|---|---|
| Upper lip, underarms | 6–8 | 85–95 percent |
| Bikini line, arms | 6–10 | 80–90 percent |
| Legs, back | 8–10 | 80–90 percent |
| Intimate zone (Brazilian) | 6–10 | 85–95 percent |
Even with advanced laser technology, there is no guarantee that all hairs will disappear permanently. In most cases, a hair reduction of 90 to 95 percent is achievable, influenced by factors such as:
› Different growth phases of your hair
› Hormones, genetics, or medication influencing hair growth
› Small fine hairs may develop in the future
To understand an effective laser treatment, it is important to first understand the hair growth cycle. Each hair is in one of three phases: the anagen phase (active growth), the catagen phase (transition), or the telogen phase (rest). Only during the anagen phase is the hair connected to the follicle and contains enough pigment for the laser to deliver energy effectively. At that moment, the laser can heat and disable the follicle.
Hairs in the rest or transition phase are not treated during that session. Because not all hairs are in the same phase at the same time, multiple sessions are needed. With each session, new hairs in the active phase can be targeted. This is why laser hair removal is always carried out in several sessions with intervals of a few weeks.
✔ Treated hairs shed naturally within 1 to 2 weeks
✔ Hair becomes thinner, lighter, and less visible with each session
✔ No more stubble, cuts, or ingrown hairs
✔ Skin feels softer, smoother, and more even
Can I shave or wax between laser sessions?
You may shave between sessions, but waxing, epilating, or using hair removal creams is not allowed. Waxing or epilating removes the hair including the root, leaving no follicle for the laser to target during the next session. Shaving is safe and does not affect your treatment results.
What should I do if my skin is red or sensitive after the laser session?
Mild redness or warmth immediately after treatment is normal and usually fades within a few hours. You can cool the skin with a cold pack (not directly on the skin) and apply aloe vera gel or a soothing cream. Avoid hot showers, sports, or saunas for the first 24 hours.
Is laser hair removal suitable for sensitive areas such as the face or intimate zone?
Yes, the Soprano Titanium is specifically designed for safe and low-pain treatments of sensitive areas. The ICE+ cooling system protects the skin continuously, making the treatment comfortable even on delicate areas such as the upper lip, underarms, or intimate zone.
