1. General
1.1: These general terms and conditions apply to all treatments, products, and services offered by First Wax, hereinafter referred to as “the Salon.”
1.2: By using the services of the Salon, you agree to these general terms and conditions.
1.3: The Salon reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be announced via the Salon’s website.
2. Appointments and Cancellations
2.1: Appointments can be made by phone, email, or through the Salon’s website.
2.2: If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. If not canceled in time, the Salon reserves the right to charge 50% of the treatment costs. If you cancel your appointment less than 12 hours in advance, you will be charged 100% of the treatment costs.
2.3: If you do not show up for an appointment without notice, the full treatment costs will be charged.
3. Treatments
3.1: The Salon will perform the treatments to the best of its ability and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship.
3.2: If you have specific medical conditions or allergies, you must inform the Salon prior to the treatment.
3.3: The Salon is not liable for any damage of any kind caused by relying on incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by the customer.
4. Payments
4.1: Payments must be made in cash or by card immediately after the treatment unless otherwise agreed.
4.2: The prices for treatments and products include VAT and are listed on the website and in the Salon.
4.3: The Salon reserves the right to change prices. Any price changes will be announced in advance.
5. Liability
5.1: The Salon is not liable for damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings brought to the Salon by the customer.
5.2: The Salon is not liable for any form of physical damage resulting from the treatment unless such damage is due to intent or gross negligence by the Salon.
6. Privacy
6.1: The Salon respects the privacy of all customers and ensures that personal information provided to us is treated confidentially.
6.2: The Salon uses your data solely for the performance of our services and their improvement. Your data will not be provided to third parties without your explicit consent.
7. Complaints
7.1: If you have a complaint about a treatment or a product, you must notify the Salon as soon as possible, but within 7 days after the treatment or purchase.
7.2: The Salon will investigate the complaint and propose an appropriate solution within 14 days. If the complaint is justified, the Salon will redo the relevant treatment or replace the product.
8. Disputes
8.1: These general terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.
8.2: Disputes arising from agreements to which these conditions apply will be submitted to the competent court in the district where the Salon is located.
9. Force Majeure
9.1: The Salon is not obliged to fulfill any obligation towards the customer if it is prevented from doing so due to a circumstance beyond its control.
9.2: Force majeure is understood to mean any circumstance independent of the Salon’s will that temporarily or permanently prevents the fulfillment of the obligations under the agreement.
10. Final Provisions
10.1: These general terms and conditions are published on the Salon’s website and are also available at the Salon.
10.2: By entering into an agreement with the Salon, the customer declares to have taken note of these general terms and conditions and to agree with them.
